CORS Base Station

The FastRTK CORS Base Station is a complete, permanently-installed reference station that provides continuous RTK corrections to your entire operation. Built on a Raspberry Pi platform running FastRTK software, it delivers enterprise-grade reliability at a fraction of traditional CORS costs.

Deployment Guide

Site Requirements

  1. Clear Sky View

    • Unobstructed view above 15° elevation
    • Away from reflective surfaces
    • Minimal multipath environment
  2. Stable Monument

    • Fixed antenna mount
    • Known coordinates (survey-grade)
    • Protected from disturbance
  3. Network Access

    • Reliable internet connection
    • Static IP recommended
    • Firewall ports: 2101, 10000
  4. Power

    • Dedicated circuit
    • UPS for continuous operation

Initial Setup

  1. Install antenna on stable monument
  2. Connect receiver to network
  3. Access web interface at device IP
  4. Set reference coordinates
  5. Configure mountpoints and users
  6. Test with field receiver
